Lately I've noticed a fairly loud click sound in the vicinity of the headlight switch while driving. To me it sounds like a breaker popping but there is no breaker. The lights still work fine. Do fuses
get "tired" sometimes and make noise? Any ideas ? Thanks.

I'm with Alan on investigating. It could be an electrical arc jumping which could cause a fire or burn up the wiring. Old copper wire and copper open to air turns greens and looses it capacity to carry current - the push on terminals and even the screw connectors can become loose and arch too. (Many houses with the short used aluminum wire burnt down due to this arcing). Make sure headlight wire off the relay to lights and from battery to the relay is heavy enough - especially if you have high wattage bulbs (like H4 upgrade). I'd check too to ensure you actually have a relay for the headlights - a switch usually can't handle that much load and will start arcing as it gets worn --- and finally quits or catchs fire.
