I came across this idea while trolling for a fix for my windshield wipers.
Anyone ever tried it ? Your results ?

I've seen that before, David, and thought it was interesting, but that's all I know. When I get back into town I'll ask my tire guy what he knows. Anyone else?
One of the Speedster I have had had these in the tires. Two things that I didn't like were that they made the tire very heavy and you could them when you were driving very slow like backing out of the garage.
Rick, I’m sure you know Speedster windshields can crack or liner separation resulting in a fog or white discoloration. For over a decade I have been researching and now developed a process that will permanently mend these cracks and separation. At an introductory price to you of $504, that’s 3 easy payments of $168 you receive my 8 oz bottle of special mending paste with activation kit to repair your windshield in less than 24 hours. The operator is waiting.
Sorry David, I addressed you as Rick. Windshield is now $400 to you.
Troy, how can you feel 14oz?
Bill - Troy probably meant you could hear them at slow speeds. This is probably a nogo for me as I no longer carry a spare but use the slime stuff and carry an air pump.
I use a similar product in my big truck - car carrier steer and drive tires, its a small bag of a course sand type product that doesn't break down when inside the tire ...works very well, actually better than wheel weights.
Would Slime do the same thing? It seems it would naturally flow to the imbalanced side of the tire and balance things out.
Ive never been able to get slime to seal anything. and it sure is a mess to clean up after it has been used.and never put it in a tire with a tube as it will deteriorate the tube.
The weight in the link, is only 3.5 oz. per tire. How could you notice that? This all seems odd to me??

Apparently some have tried this with steel or lead shot...perhaps that is what you may have heard...? Steel or lead shot is not good for the rubber.

Screw the windshield stuff, Dennis. I want to get back to the Sandbar in Cocoa Beach to see the lead singer of Hot Pink's girlfriend dance one more time. That girl was not red hot...she was white hot and smokin'...
