The Morro Bay "Fun Frolic" will be the weekend of April 24. I have the hotel reserved for 23,24,25. Most details for the weekend are already worked out and just a few bumps that need some attention to get contracted for. As soon as I can I will post the complete agenda and all details.
You will love the hotel ... and most folks will have COVERED PARKING!!

I got "goose bumps" just taking the pictures - and it wasn't from the chilly temperature. The scenery was phenomenal!
Really surprised that the RED TUB started up when we returned from our short tour up "north". Dusty made room in his big "toy garage" for a few days and the company was pretty classy - Ferrari, Auburn, Excaliber, a "real" 356, and new Corvette......
When loading her on the trailer, I kept hearing: "Please, don't take me home! Please, don't take me home! Please, don't take me home!" At first I thought I had found myself a talking car - the RED TUB will be worth millions!

Finally found time to get the pictures up! (Mount Rushmore and Devil's Tower - without the Speedster - and then a church retreat. So much to do and so little time - Willy Wonka?)
But what a time at the National Gathering!
Everyone was super - and guess what? ..... Carol's pushing to go to Morro Bay in April! Dusty, Sharon, Jim, Ginny, Jennifer, Darren, Jim, Pam, and all the others that came along - I can't thank you enough!
Before leaving for the trip, Carol was very vocal about how I was taking her to a car show, in the little car that doesn't have window, no heat or air conditioning, and visiting people I met on the internet - all for HER BIRTHDAY! (Tongue in cheek.....) After coming home, she couldn't stop talking about how great the trip really was - and the people!
I'll be posting some of the shots here and in later posts.
We'll start with some of the ladies at church....

Glad to hear you had a great time on your road trip! Great pics. Looks like your car REALLY had a place of honor at Pleasant Valley Saddle Shop by displacing Deadshot's prized John Deere tractor in the car corral!!
