Well I think she is done and on her way. Should be in my garage by Tuesday! They knocked it out of the park. Silver with dark navy, it is perfect...for me!

I look forward to it. I don't think there are many of us around here!
Sexy beast.
This year Crawdad-Dennis and myself went from Central FL.
I am in Oviedo and he is in Rockledge. I think we may be able to get a few more from CFL for 2016 if we start talking sooner?

You are in Charlotte, NC or JAX area?
Tom L
There are actually a decent number of us in the Carolinas, east Tennessee, and north Georgia. A gathering shouldn't (famous last words) be that hard to pull off.
Savannah, GA would be perfect site? Time of year: February?
I think there is about 6-8 of us right here in Central FL.

Tom
just moved in July to Charlotte from Jax...
Sounds like Jack C is coming this way as well!
Thanks, Todd.
Thanks, Todd.
Me too. I think that sounds fantastic!
February is a bit iffy as the weather is pretty unpredictable then. March is usually more consistent. I don't know a whole lot about Savannah as the only time I've been there is to go to Roebling Road Raceway for a track day. I'm game, though. I will also put in a vote for the Charleston area itself as there are tons of things to do, places to see, and spectacular meals to eat.
Todd, a great looking spyder; you must be excited to get her on the winding road for a test run
Bet you won't have many problems with this one. It looks gorgeous. A real crumpet catcher!

I am liking the sound of Charleston
I too like the Charleston idea.
Was just trying to make it a Central location to get the most participants.
Lane,
How can we begin a new Thread and start spreading the word for a March event in Charleston? I am willing to help put it together.
I do work, so for me a Saturday to Sunday is the best schedule possible.
I'd do Charleston---February can be very chilly there I'd consider Mid March.
Jack,
That's great to hear! I agree with Lane, and with you, that late in March would be much more climate friendly for our vehicle's occupants.
While reading the enthusiasm from you knuckle heads for a March weekend of debauchery in Charleston I thought "Jeez, That sounds like a great idea"...
Then I had one of my irrational "Hey, Why Not!" fantasy's of possibly joining you old codgers!!!....If my health holds...If the weather forecast is decent...and, If I have the balls to trust the reliability of my VS!
Pepespeed - I'll start a new thread. Hopefully we can pull something together.
Lane,
Perfect. Please let us know thread Name and under what heading so that we can communicate to other members who may have interest in participating.
Thank you for taking the lead on this one. Let me know how I can help.

Ok folks, check out "Planning for possible SE event in March" in the "Events" forum.
Todd, car looks fantastic! Best of luck with it!
Todd,
I just missed seeing your car as I was at Special Edition on Monday. I had to get some goodies for my Speedster and Spyder.
BTW Your 550 looks oddly familiar , great looking car. I got some removable meatballs for mine number 62 to match my age and a 1955 La Mans car. I went with a smaller diameter as I didn't want to have to cut the meatballs.
I also recommend the LED head lights they fit fine behind the fluted glass lens and really give a much better night time driving experience.
Have fun with your car.
Pete
