The only thing I might reccomend is a "Slave Saver" bracket to replace the VW side cover unit.... It requires cutting off the old cable mount and a little grinding, but it lets the slave cylinder operate in a better alignment.... Just a thought...
I still might be interested in your old transmission if it is still available Tom, but I forgot your price you wanted for it.
Well, you could always pop in a new (German) shift rod coupler and a new rod bushing. You haven't got a lot of miles on them but, what the hey......Why not? They'll be tighter than what's join there now.....
But, then again.....If it ain't broke........
The trans is still available. I'm asking $2500 with the pickup being on Bremen after Carey pulls it after the first of the year. You would have to work out shipping with him, if interested.
It has about 5000 miles on it.
