Just acquired a 2007 Vintage Speedster, which is tremendous. About the only piece I'm not impressed with is the turn signal stalk which is decidely Volkswagen-like. Anyone know how one gets a Porsche-like replacement? Thanks!

Do a search on turnsignal switch. It was just a subject is one of the threads not too long ago. I put a 67 VW bus switch on mine. They are very similar to the original Porsche switches.

The Porsche 356A and Oval Era VW directionals were identical except for the stamping inside the collar and the length of the ivory knob at the end.
What you might want is a genuine early VW item rather than the repro unit (or worse, the late model VW assemblies) that you often see on the replicas. Turn key cars mostly have the repro unit, home built cars most often have the doner car item.
A genuine restored 356 Porsche directional assembly is going to run you over three hundred.
