Upper side molding hole size

I'm looking for some advise,

I would like to install the thin upper side molding from Vintage Speedsters with the small white holding clips that secure in a hole in the body. Can anyone help me with the hole size for proper install.

Use a bit slightly smaller than the clip. Because the clip was designed for sheet metal and the fiberglass being much thinker, I use a small dab of JB Kwik Weld in each hole to keep the clip from working loose.
