I haven't used a feeler gauge for a while, preferring to just spin the push rod with my fingers to get to between .000" and .001". Works well for me, but for those running stock or near stock lash and not totally comfortable setting valve clearance, then one of those or something like CB sells looks interesting.

For my adjustment tools, been using the same metric, open end/box wrench and screwdriver combo since the 60's. Stick the screwdriver blade through the box end of the wrench and go at it.

Hoss Hallstrand traditionally contributes one of those all-in-one valve adjustment tools to the Carlisle raffle, and it's ALWAYS a much sought after win.
