My windshield STICKS out at the upper corners. Nicely bedded everywhere else. When i put the conv. top up and crank it down , the w/s frame pulled rite OVER THE TOP edge of the glass.
No it didnt crack the glass, must be super stuff!
Seems my options are to try rebending the the frame curves at the corners, or cut a half inch outa the middle and TIG back together(IMHO much easier!).
ANYONE had this prob?

Ok I read this nine times and still don't get it. You are saying the windshield frame goes over the glass? Yes....it does with a rubber gasket. Or are you saying the convertible top BOW, goes too much over the glass? If that's the case you may have the wrong type BOW on your top. Different makers have different shapes so not all fit one. I think in order to try and decipher what you mean a picture may be worth 1000 words here.

Possible you do not have a proper frame and maybe a home made one. Have you considered ordering a new top frame and rubber gasket? VS has them and they are not expensive. At least that would be closer to what you need, UNLESS the glass was home made, in which case you would need a new windshield. I think we need to get some measurements. I am away from FERN (my car) today. Can someone post measurement of the glass?
