Well the park brake and 10-hole wheels are a dead giveaway. My guess is that this is a Vintage based on the engine compartment. Some nice details, though, like the Speedo in the correct location on the right versus the left.
It's a JPS. The dash gives it away as the upholstery goes all the way to the end while VS stops it an inch or so shy.
Lane is correct! Check the interior door panels as well. Unless swapped out, that isn't a Vintage.
I mean the guy listed it twice as a 1973.... Not sure that anywhere in the ad it says real speedster...
Well guys, good guessing but you're all wrong!
According to an email reply from the seller the 'Make' of this replica is a "1973 Volkswagen"...and the engine is a "Bosch"

The title is a bit slippery though...up top I see the word PORSC and handwritten down near the 7 o'clock position I see PORSCHE. Might that be construed to be a legit "embellishment" and yet perhaps nudge the unwary into thinking it is a real Porsche ?
Never had a Bosch engine before. Truly unique.
I was most impressed that this particular car was coach built by Karmann according to the sticker on the door...
WOW! This is indeed a very rare and unique speedster...Literally one of a kind since it's the ONLY speedster bodied Porsche Karmann Coach Works EVER produced!!
At 35K it's a fantastic investment.

Carl:
According to the photos and the reported response by the owner, the car is even more rare than we first thought:
Door by Karmann
Bosch engine
Right front fender (per the photo) by Reutter.
I suspect the bumpers are Pininfarina and the bonnet lid may be GM.
$35k, not even close to it's actual value.

Probably left out a couple of zeros on the price for that rare beastie.
Maybe we ought to throw in together and snap this rare jewel up before Jay Leno gets wind of it.
Carl, before we go "throwing together", I'd rather do that on Howard's car.
Come on Rich! I'll throw in the first hundie but only if it has a Chevrolet Powerglide tranny, and both forward gears have to be functional.
Oh now that's crazy! Who ever heard of a powerglide with BOTH gears functional?
Hope springs eternal Ed.
