Very Nice 65 356 C Sunroof Coupe $37,500

If I was in the market for a coupe, I'd be seriously looking at this one. Buy It Now is $37,500. It's just like the one I had in the 80s and sold for $6,000.

It's missing a hash mark between 0-10. And there's no 0. Other than that...nice car!

I wonder if this is a scam? The seller has lots of feedback, selling tickets and camera equipment back in 2007. That is a nice car, but you need to look real close at any 356 made out of steel for rust. It's in Virginia, where it's damp, even though the seller claims it's been in a climate controlled garage.

Check it out. The Buy It Now is gone and the reserve is off at $32,000. Can't wait to see if it goes for more than the original Buy It No price of $37,500.

You're right Will it does need to be looked at very closely. Check out the bid history. There are three unique bidders at first and then the last three bids are from the same bidder. Why would a bidder keeping out bidding himself?

That's the way ebay works. He was looking for the reserve, and found it. He's probably got a higher bid that will show up when somebody bids again.

Stan's right, and his first bid might have been the one that found reserve while the other two are made to pad himself higher than reserve in order to defend against any later/last minute bidders.

Once reserve is met the person who makes reserve can set his own reserve in effect -put in the highest he's willing to pay without changing the shown high bid. It's a way to insure a win.

The only way that $32K number will show a change now is if another bidder comes along.
