YES - but if it is the Super Beatle (front mcpherson struts) you will have to chop off the front suspension (in addition to, of course, shortening the chassis) and replace it with regular beetle H beam and suspension bits.  That takes alignment and welding expertise.  Another more modern front suspension improved would be to chop off and go with a KoolRides Mendeola conversion.

Can you post a pic of the front suspension so we can see what you have?

That VIN should be a ball joint front end, but to verify post a pic and the guys will identify it for you.  You have a much better chance of it fitting/working if it is indeed ball joint.
