Vintage Motorcars fuel sender specs

If it is a newer build using the digital 100mm VDO gauges it's 75-10

These are original 356 gauges from 1960. 6V

they are being converted at North Hollywood Speedometer. So they will be replacing the movement for the fuel gauge, but they need the fuel tank sender ohm range. I believe it’s 10 ohm full, 75 ohm empty. But just need to confirm.

Why not put your multimeter on it and take a reading?

Car not built yet and sold my other one. But would be awesome if someone had one out of a car and could test the range, or knew what it was off hand.

Some senders have the ohm range listed online. Have you tried that?

Yes, I just found them (10ohm-70ohm) Now the trouble is the original fuel gauges run on a different ohm range.

Yep.

My recommendation has long been to use the trip odometer and cover that useless thing with a piece of tape.

Yup. I do 150 to 160 miles if around town. I can easily do 200 if it's all highway. But my gauge works perfectly.
