Won 1st place at Manassas BugOut just before you sold it! Add the umbrella hand brake and it would be hard to tell from real thing (cept no rust of course!) - even has the star shaped ivory heat control knob on center tunnel. Gorgeous car! We're lining up for his silver Spyder once he tires of it.
Candy was a fun car to build and the return was well worth the sale.
I really didn't want to sell that black VS but the opportunity to recoup what I had into it made the sale a reality.
I can only think of three speedsters, that have surfaced at times, the other 14 are MIA.
After driving Danny P's Spyder at Carlisle 08,that got my attention, ....you'll have to wait quite while for my Beck Thunder Ranch to be available.
Anyway the black VS that is mentioned above and on eBay is a great car !
I really didn't want to sell that black VS but the opportunity to recoup what I had into it made the sale a reality.

If you like black vintage speedsters, check out the los angeles craiglist listing Nov. 19 under porsche 356. If it's decent, it is a pretty good buy at $14,900 OBO.

I drove this car. It was excellent to say the least. Handled well, accelerated awesome...get your hands on it if you can. And knowing that Alan owned it only made it that much better.
Hope all is well with everyone....I have been driving the wheels off my Beck. Went out today for 3 hours in 48 degree temps. Was just toasty. Got a few strange looks but it was too sunny to sit in the garage looking at her. Readying for a Turkey run on Thursday...if it aint snowing, I am taking her out!

Doesn't look like the car sold. Offers up to 19K & still didn't sell.??? Buy it now was 19,900. I'll keep looking (east coast area). No hurry, the snow is about to fly.
It's still on the Easton PA Craigslist for $19,995 OBO.
