After about 25 years of Storage in the Dry Rust Free State of Arizona, this Speedster along with the rust-free 1970 I.R.S. donor VW was brought to Pennsylvania. I spent over a year in construction before completion and Title.
SPECIAL CONSTRUCTED VEHICLE
It was constructed to, and conforms to PA FORM MV-426B Specially Constructed Vehicle. It was titled in Dec. 2005
It is Titled, Registered, Inspected and Insured in Pennsylvania
Less than 500 miles since completion.

No, it was the red one on the other side of the tent, with the top up (in your photo)parked next to Gordon. Mine is painted. The Gelcoat color was Dove Gray. Too drab for me!
The one on the other side of Gordon is my Black VS.

Greg - My wife and I have a very nice '65 Irish Green coupe which could be a "trailer queen" with a few cosmetic upgrades. However we have no interest in showing the car but instead enjoy driving it in northern NH and VT. We are now looking for an open car and thru the TYP356NE club have been in touch with Gordon Nichols via email who has given me some initial comments on speedster replica values, etc. I would be interested in getting more info from you on the black car as well. The Red Speedster took 1st in class today at Super Jam XIX, Maple Grove Raceway, PA.
This event is now being shared with Mini's. Those little (but not as little as the original) boxes haul ass!
And the exibition runs (always a jet rail) in "Queen of Hearts" was driven by a Lady to 302 MPH in the 1/4 mile 3 times during the day. Frightening!
