I finally located a good Blaupunkt Frankfurt TR (transistor) radio with a green dial face for my car. Reconditioned and guaranteed to work.

However, I want to thank Captain Scott Steele for his offer of a nice Blaupunkt. Unfortunately, I had just bought the other one when I got Scott's email.

There are lots of good people on this site, which makes it nice to own a Speedster.

Scott, thanks once again to you and your wife (she went to the effort of taking some photos of the radio).

Before I learned to speak German, I always thought "Blaupunkt" sounded exotic an sexy. Now I know it translates to blue point. Look for the blue dot in the logo.
