Vintage Speed SS Air Filters | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Anyone have any thoughts on these? I’ve given up on the search for a paper element and these look like a good idea. I used Scott’s SS oil filters on a couple of bikes and it’s a real plus to be able to clean them with an aerosol can of carb cleaner.

Good to see this as an option. I LOVE the look of their Zentih/classic style housings but the foam filter inside is garbage. This should give you the best of both worlds if it works as it should...

@dlearl476 - good idea. @Former Member and I gave the guys at Vintage Speed an earful about the horrible foam inserts at the 356 Lit Show last year; they weren’t too receptive to our feedback and didn’t feel it wasn’t their problem.

I switched to the EMPI 3.5” oval filters, and they seem fine!
