My CMC came with Vintage gauges and, like an idiot, I installed them when I built the car. If only I knew then what I know now . . .
Anyhow, the speedometer has always been goofy. Actually, I think if you take the average of the KPH and the MPH (it has both on the dial), it's probably fairly accurate, but who wants to carry a calculator in their car? Can this be fixed/adjusted? Replace it (along with all the other gauges)? Any thoughts, Speedster gurus? Thanx a lot-

The CMC gauges are slightly larger than other available gauges and of course the dash is now cut for 5 gauges. So choices are to find a NOS/used one. Most seem to be white face with silver bezel - but they made gold/brass bezel and black with black face models. Other alternative is to replace with other gauges which require fiberglassing the dash to make holes smaller. I did same as you - installed and then decided I didn't like them. Options are many - from 914 gauges to real 356 (caution the older tachs were cable driven)to popular Chinese repros. I doubt the CMC one can be taken apart or fixed. Oh, and CMC uses unique sending units.
