I'm in the process of creating the eBay listing for this beautiful red with beige Vintage Speedster, but wanted to give any SOC members a first shot at it. This one has only 5,500 miles on it and look like it just rolled off the Vintage assembly line. It was built in 2010 and has a 1915cc engine with dual Webers and a Freeway Flyer transmission.
It is built on a 1967 VW pan and has current California registration as a 1967 VW. I'm selling it for $20,500, which is about $2,000 less than it is worth and at least $5,000 less than a new one. Why am I selling it for less, because I was able to purchase it for less because it has a "salvage" title.
Before you jump to the typical conclusion that there must be something wrong with it if it has a salvage title, think about it for a minute. The car was built and delivered by Vintage with a salvage title. As Kirk explained to me, they are "all really "salvaged" VWs," this one just happens to say it on the title! As Kirk also explained, Vintage totally reconditions the pan and does not use pans that have been damaged. You will be able to see from the pictures that this pan is no different than any other pan and in fact possibly even nicer than most! So if you are looking for a beautiful Speedster at a "smokin hot price," this car might just be what you are looking for.

If you are serious about buying a Speedster act quick. Once it goes on eBay it won't last long at this price.
