Hello all,
I have a Vintage Speedster 356A purchased in 2014 from Troy Sloan. I discovered it here on SOC. It's been a great little car and after some part upgrading and tweaking, runs like a top. It has 2300 original miles. I've put about $1000 into the car in replacing the coil, points, carburetor tuning, etc. Paint is a 8-9, Interior is a 9. More details and numerous pics available.

Folks- I apologize for not listing the asking price earlier. I am asking $27K (negotiable).
Engine is the standard 1600cc "super"
Weber IDF 40 carbs (new in 2014)
Honestly, I am not sure about the transmission. Other owners here may be able to weigh in.
Rear brakes are drums, front brakes are discs.
I would think that being equipped with a 1600, it would probably have a 4.12 r&p in the trans (it wouldn't be very zippy with the mouse motor and a 3.88), but you never know.

Just curious...are 40 IDF's the standard carb for a 1600 from VS? They normally have smaller ICT's, right?

The 40's are not standard. Troy Sloan had recommended them when I purchased the car from him. They've provided a little more performance and look great.

Looks like it's hit ebay
Car is located in Dallas. It was previously owned by a CA owner, so it was registered in CA. I am not familiar with SB100- maybe someone else here can weigh in.

- sb 100 would be for California registered cars, your's would qualify
since it's a pan based vintage - but might be hard to register since it's a
low mileage car (last time I looked into registering an out of state
replica (in 2005) it was going to be a problem to register in California if
the mileage was under 7,000 miles I think....Rick J
That's an interesting dilemma I guess. I wonder if because the car was registered in California originally it might be easier.
