I have a black 2000 Vintage Speedster built by Kirk that has some road rash in the front that I'd like to touch up (the chipped away paint has left a rash of white specks).

I've looked at the Dr. ColorChip road rash repair products, and helped a friend using this product with amazing success on a 1988 Porsche 930.

However, when you go to order it your asked for a paint code, or make, model, and color.  While we were able to do this with my friend's 930, I am thinking a basic nonmetallic black (they have this option) should do it.  I have used a Mercedes Benz black to touch up a few other spots on the car that has matched well.

Does anybody know the black paint color (any identifier would be helpful) that Kirk uses on his black Speedsters ?

Any input would be greatly appreciated and have a great New Years.  Grant

Thanks WNGD.  Yes, I've left several messages with Kirk this past short week that were not retuned, and was planning on restarting my call campaign to Kirk on Tuesday.

In the meantime, I was just curious to learn whether any members on the forum with black Vintage Speedsters may have had such paint info that would be helpful to share.

Thanks, Grant
