I JUST BOUGHT MY VINTAGE SPEEDSTER USED. IT IS A TURNKEY CAR WITH THE SAME IGNITION I SEE ON EVERY OTHER VINTAGE SPEEDSTER. WHAT TYPE OF KEY BLANK IS USED SO THAT I CAN OBTAIN SOME DUPLICATES?

I have the same problem...Tried a few places that had what they claim
to be every blank....guess what, they didn't have mine...
Called vintage and they said you can get them anywhere.....

This is in OKC sooooo.. I found the keys at an old fashion key shop. That's all they do is keys and locks. But that's where I go for all my keys so I don't know of they are available elsewhere. If you two continue to have trouble finding a blank I'll run down and grab a few and mail them to you.

But if you want the authentic Porsche look, visite Klasse356 as they have NOS Bosch ignitions with the correct Speedster bezel for around $80. And it'll come with a spare key

I too went to the local key guy (not the same one from forty years ago, different 'key') and he had my blank... I think he muttered something about Briggs & Stratton...
