The VS gauges used to be Chinese replicas which often had issues with tach and speedo. The BECK SE VDO gauges are commissioned by Cary Hines after he expeience reliability issues with the Chinese one. We've heard no complaints here about his gauges. As a side benefit, the speedo is GPS driven so reads accurate despite tire/wheel sizes. They are also MPH vs the KPH of VS gauges. Believe original and old replicates are 110mm diameter - Beck ones are 105mm but their is a "spacer" available to make up the tire size.
I do find the lighting is somewhat dim...
The Beck gauges are great. Don't forget you need to buy senders.
