Hi Fellow Speedsters,

Due to economic conditions...contemplating selling my pristine 2001 Vintage Speedster. 4600 miles. Black w/tan interior. 1600cc stock motor. Front discs. Heated seats. Coco mats. Chrome wheels. Fully carpeted trunk. Driving lights mounted behind horn grilles. Hella 100db horns. Unmolested. Always garaged. Perfect in every way. Any ideas on how I should price for sale? Car is located in north San Diego county. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks, DB.

You might start by pricing out what a brand new one would be with exactly the same features, That should be easy, then discount a percentage from that number.

Sounds like you have a car with pretty universal appeal. Good color combination and nice features. Dr. Clock or Troy could probably give you some good data based on their experience as well.

Sorry you need to sell, but good luck. You have a nice car.

I sold a 2002 VS - red with Tan, 1600CC motor, etc that was mint with under 2500 miles a year ago this time and did it for just over 16K.  I am building a new one with Vintage now with bigger motor, etc for much more.  Seems like the speedsters on fleabay always get up to around 17K to 19K and then the bidding stops.  I would venture to say - in my OPINION ONLY - you should be somewhere in the 16K to 19K range...but probably sell closer to 17K?
