I've done a search and have read several postings about speedometer accuracy, but most of them were reading over the actual speed and mine seems to be under by about 10 miles per hour. I haven't had a chance to check it against another car, so maybe its just that I am so low to the ground that it seems like I am going faster than I really am, but I don't think so. My tire size on the front is 225/45/17. Anybody else out there seen this problem? If so, can a Vintage speedometer be calibrated?

With the VDO guages you can actually calibrate the speedo yourself. You hold th trip re-set button in and turn the car on, it will bring up a menu where you tell it how many pulses per kilometer. by changing this you can either use a measured kilo or a GPS to check your results and change accordingly. I went onto the highway and used the measured kilometer boards and a stop watch and half an hour later It was just about spot on
