I bought a VMC Speedster this last summer and love it. Always thinking ahead (because I can't help myself) and am wondering if any members have experience with a VMC coupe? Am particularly wondering about water ingress into the cabin. My Speedster, as expected, has no limits to the amount of water that enters while driving in the rain...how does the coupe do?

Max Hoffman pushed Porsche to create a stripped open car for the Calif climate.  It came light weight with side curtains and an emergency top.  Never designed to be even water resistant.  The '59 Conv D fixed the problem and was pretty much water proof.  I'd expect the replica coupe to be even better at being waterproof (if care is taken in the building of the car).  I remember Tom D's green coupe at Carlisle with couple inches of water on the floor! I'd want AC/heat though for proper defrosting.  I'd also want lots of noise insulation.
