Before I do the passenger side signal, I'd like your opinion. I am on the fence.
Thanks, Art

Assuming that you are not reporting from England, I think the passenger side (left in photo) looks right, but that's JMHO.
Vote: Nay. Prefer the original look. JMHO.
Me not likey
the original look on the passenger side is more to my liking.
Art, my opinion is that it is your car do with it as YOU want...may not be to everyone else's liking but if you like it...go for it
We used to hire ex-waitresses in our business. Why? because they knew that a client could want his eggs any way he wanted them and it was OK ! He wasn't weird or bizarre or had lost his marbles, of course in HIS opinion. But, if we didn't have to kill for him, steal for him, or do anything illegal, we could serve him...
Keep it old school.
What Gary and Troy said; it's your car, not bound to rules by a P vin #, so if you like it, go for it. Since you're asking; like Troy, I prefer the original look.
I like the passenger side....
Me too but it's not my car.
Those would work really well on my car, they would camouflage the machine guns...

Is the original one just painted black behind the horn grill? It doesn't look like it was cut out. I like the original look.
Greg;
The original (passenger side) is chrome no alterations, no black paint, just my dark dingy garage, with an Ipad camera.
Thanks. Art
I'd like it on my black outlaw, yours looks better stock.
You do that driver side marker light like that, you have to carry the look through. All blacked chrome. Or all but the grill over the engine. You'd want to go with a matte finish on the body. Or bare carbon fiber. Cut windshield. Mod wheels @17" with 50s or 40s all around. No bumpers. No nerfs. Maybe body-colored bumperettes. Slammed. On and on it goes.
It could be a cool look. But it's like Mr. Miyagi said: a little karate is worse than no karate at all.
Art, I'll gladly take them off your hands. How about a close up of the driverside.
Bill
Here's the drivers side. Pretty simple to do. I cut the bars out of the grill, used the Dremel to grind out the remaining "stubs". Removed the chrome light bezel. Sanded the light bezel and grill frame, finishing with 400 grit. Rattle can paint.
Stole this idea from Dr. Clock...I went to Home Depot in the roof gutter section there is black wire mesh material for blocking leaves etc from roof gutter. 3' sections, under $4.00. Cut to fit behind the grill frame, using the frames 3 mounting studs to hold the mesh and the grill frame tight to the body.

Art, I like it...yet I also like the originals too. Gives it sort of a 'Outlaw' look.
Art, if you decide to keep that look get new turn signal lens covers(in clear) the cloudy off white looks off.
Good point Marty! It seems at this juncture, too many colors for mild outlaw
1.) chrome body bumper trim
2.) gold insignias
3.) add potential black trimmings
4.) guards red is not, I now think, appropriate for any intensity of an outlaw look.
Thanks for pointing out the lenses.
Black trim doesn't match the chrome highlight bezel. If the bezel was also black it would look better.
I agree with Marty....turn signal lens should be clear.
I still prefer the original look.
Bill;
If after examination of the close up, & you are still interested. I'll send you the blacked out horn grill and the black mesh screen. I'll cut a 2nd piece of mesh for your other side. So you'll have to paint your 2 light bezels and cut and paint the other horn grill.
If so dialog me with your address.
