VS battery removal

I already know I'm an idiot, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to remove the battery in my VS. I've losened the wing nuts below the car and taken off the leads, but it's still "trapped" by that rubber thingy holding it in place. I'd add a photo, but I'm sure anyone who has the same setup and has changed the battery before knows what I am talking about. Thanks in advance.

Hi Troy, I wasn't able to get the nuts off, but loosened them enough to be able to rotate the battery and slide it out. The wingnuts, when they got to the point that they should come off just get stuck...like they're stripped or something. Anywho, I finally got it. THANKS a bunch.
