I uses a insulating foam and filled the voids. Then let it set up and trimmed it pretty with electric carveing knife. It also helped seal up any possable water leaks from the rear wheelwell areas.

I did my front kick pannels more like a Carman Ghia. Because i liked the way that looked. Even though its not correct for a 356 it still looks closer than a standard VS kit.

OPPS! I guess ? I got to excited. Sorry> One more point. If you have acess to a industial sewing machine. Its better to just custom Make your own carpets To your choise io fabrics and trim .

Don't forget many of these cars were made to order,, to the customers request One car at a time and ALL were hand built.
