The passenger side door gap at the lower front corner is WAY too close and has actually comes into slight contact with the back edge of the fender on my '05 VS. What's the fix? I tried loosening the door-to-hinge bolts, but it didn't appear that I could get any adjustment by lifting the door up to have more clearance at that corner. Ditto for the hinge-to-body bolts.
The door gaps look to have enough space to correct this elsewhere, and would appear to have enough wiggle room to be able to lift the back edge of the door enough to get minimal clearance at the bottom front corner if I could just determine how the door "adjusts". The latch is fine as is, too.....it's just that the lower front corner is extremely close / is touching the fender when its shut or the swing at 95% shut (where it is closest to the fender ). What are my options?

Man, Kirk must give a lifetime or 10 year warranty like Hyundai - seems any problem even with old VS the answer is see Kirk! Why don't we give it a code - SO pat answer VS#1 is for "just ask Kirk." How does he find time to build new ones?

Shims (squares of aluminum plate cut size of hinge base) or washers are about best way to adjust the hinges. Ya may have to adjust the striker plate too. Other alternative is grind off offending piece and (ugh) repaint area.
