My headlights were just "Placed" in the sockets and are not secured. The headlight assembly has one screw that extends through the body. Are the headlights only secured by one screw and bolt at the bottom of the light? How else would I secure the lights? I have a little rattle coming from that area and I don't think that the one bolt is enough.

Kevin,
What you should have in the top of the headlight socket is a small,
square piece of thin metal plate that extends out slightly and has a little lip that bends upwards.

The headlight chrome trim ring "hangs" on this and is then securely sited in the socket.

This metal tag is usually riveted to the headlight socket.

Unfortunately I don't have a close-up pic to illustrate this - maybe someone could post one?

Hope this helps

- Mitch
