Kirk told me that the paint code for my 2015 silver Speedster is "PPG crystal silver #DBU35136" But it's not a good match; a little too dark. Any ideas for the right code?

My 2002 VS is painted with that same paint. PPG Silver Crystal Poly #DBU35136. It is in the original paperwork I got from the PO.
Apparently that is the "go to" basic silver for VS.
I have a VS, and I was given the same pain code by Kirk in 2013, as well as a 12oz can of the paint when I took delivery.
i did have to touch up some rock chips this summer, and though it looked darker in the can, once applied/cured it blended the rock chips seamlessly.
Before attempting to touch up the car using the old paint/ or buying new one--- I did go through the process of going to a PPG paint /body shop with scanning/ matching tool capabilities.... and after they scanned the car paint, and a card they had sprayed with the older 2013 mix, they told me there was no need to buy/mix new paint... they told me I had the right code... but the tricky part of metallics is matching the "sparkle/flake".
I ended up letting the paint shop touch up the rock dings ( they offered that service-- not a repaint, but a rock ding repair/touch up service). using the paint I had brought in and they had tested. They did a wonderful job. So good that if I had not taken pictures of where the dings were I would not have known during my walk though were to look.
Find a PPG shop with a paint scanning tool... they should be able to confirm and mix what you need.
Good luck.
I have a VS 2017 (56) speedster, Kirk told me my color is Porsche Arctic silver not sure of number. Hope that helps
P.S. Kirk said this was the only silver he uses. Not sure though
