anybody know the weight of a wide body VS speedster and what the valve adjustment should be on a 2010cc motor

Jerry, that's one nice looking speedster.
I set mine (both intake and exhaust) at 0.006 and check them every 3000 miles.
Don't know what it weighs, but it looks good for a fat chick in a thong! If the pushrods are aluminum then .006" as Ron said. If they're chromoly, then loose zero. Al
thanks for the info and comments--need to work out some problems with kirk at VS- don't know how he will stand behind his product-we shall see

one other thing I did to my VS was spray 2 cans of 3M professional rubberized undercoat into each wheelwell to cushion any blows from rocks being tossed upward which could cause spider cracks in the paint..
Very nice Super Widebody! Looks a lot like this one doesn't it.
Troy, your nerf bars are different than my Empi's, where did you get them? You sure have beautiful speedsters! Excellent photography too.
jeez I hope theres not 50 of them floating around, but we do have a real beauty--did you have any problems with kirk?
Jerry:
Did you do a search for this topic on this site? You may find a variety of posts related to your questions.
Speedbucket: My nerf bars are Empi's! Not sure what you have.
Jerry: The pewter Super Widebody in the pictures I posted is one that I resold a couple of years ago. It now resides in Georgia.
Here is mine and a link to more pictures of it. http://kvan.hopto.org/speedster.htm
For a fat chick in a thong it looks pretty good! You forgot the link....
is that Billy Derians old car?
is that Billy Derians old car?
The one I sold wasn't Billy's car. His was a a BMW green if I recall correctly.
no his was that color with the dark brown leather
no his was that color with the dark brown leather
and im talking about jerrys car
Billy's car was painted a late model Jaguar silver metallic. Also the interior faux leather was the nicest, highest quality stuff I have ever seen. If I have another build done it will be my material of choice. Very thick/sturdy stuff with a totally leather look. Wish Billy was still active with us. He was quite the interesting fellow.
@Jerry - NICE car, no matter how many of that color are around! I suspect that Kirk will help sort things out with your new ride! It will be worth it!
@Tom - You're right, we miss Billy and his contributions to the shenanigans of the SoCal SOC crew.
Here's a pic of Billy's (far right) first hook-up with us...the time we all met for a cruise out of Malibu. I like the 'WTF-have-I-gotten-myself-into' look on his face!
hey Ron and ALB----my 110hp 2010 cc has chrome moly push rods and Kirks engine builder says set lash at "0" and the cars weigh 1600-1800 pounds-my wide body is 1800lbs
troy-- that's a blue beauty-why did you sell the first one--
I sold the one in the pictures I posted, because that is what I do for fun. I find them, buy them, fix them up and resell them. I'm on number 20 right now.
Yes loose zero for chromoly
since we all probably car cars--you might like some of my other past and present babies
