NOT MINE. Interesting idea. Not your typical 289/428 VW front engine.

I saw one of these on the west coast when I went to the gathering in 2005. At the banquet, the MC, obviously a Cobra guy, made fun of it. I wonder if the jerk realized that the owner may have been present and how that person must of felt about having the car ridiculed publicly.
I'd drive any one of our cars into a PCA concours event before I'd pull into a Cobra event with this! And Hoss' post explains why! I agree that MC was out of line, but it's not exactly unexpected.
Plenty of luggage space in back, wonder what the front trunk looks like?
I like it, but the wheels stick out too far and it really needs to be lowered (after the wheels with a lot more offset are installed).
A new exhaust system wouldn't hurt, either.
Well, at least the owner won't burn his leg, either inside or outside!
Being a Cobra owner I can honestly say that car is so wrong in so many ways...My only question for the owner is WHY? If you want a Cobra get a Cobra replica...don't build an abortion like that...
Some cars should not be replicated using VW/Porsche/Suby power or components...especially a Cobra!
As DannyP said at least there is no worry about getting 'snake bit' in that thing...LOL
Wow just checked the ebay site seems some other fool and his money parted company...it SOLD...
Maybe...maybe not.
eBay says the listing "ended"
That might mean it sold locally. But will be interesting to see if it the ad reappears.
The body shape isn't bad, but he windshield is too far forward and too upright. The Lotus colors and exposed hood hinges don't help it either.
And then there's the whole "should drive like a monster but drives like a VW" thing.
Two words: Suby Turbo.
One word: No.
I took my Cobra down to the track, hitched to the back of my Cadillac, everyone was there just wait'n for me, plenty of Sting Ray's and Formula Vees.....
Aw come on guys... there's an arse for every seat !
I didn't know you could say arse on this forum. :-)
I know you can't say mastur?bate , but, I was at the Doctor's last week and she said I have to quit mastur?bating and I asked "why" ? She said "because i'm trying to examine you"
Well...that about covers it...

A few years ago the organizers of the 'Double Venom Spring Fling' Cobra event got the Rip Chords that made the song 'Spring Little Cobra' a hit to come and entertain at various venues of the event. After 4 days of CONSTANTLY HEARING THAT SONG I've grown to loathe it...
