VW Carpet kit from CIP

Has anyone tried a carpet kit from a VW for a Speedster. I have a CMC widebody. I am not looking for original/authentic as I am already in the outlaw stages.

Below is the link to the kit that I am thinking about buying. At $100 delivered, I am having a hard time talking myself out of this. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I suspect you will end up cutting and pasting a lot of those parts which means you will lose the bound/trimmed edge. Plus the replica back seat is a prety unique bird.

I recommend you splurge and buy a kit from Vintage. It's a pretty good fit for a CMC wide body. I just installed one.
