The mechanic that rebuilt my type 1, this past spring is in Clayton, DE, about one hour outside of Philadelphia. He did an excellent job and I would recommend him without hesitation. When you talk to him tell him I said hello.

We built that car for Richard St. Louis, who is a new member of this site. There are more pictures of it under his files.
The color was a custom mix from Sikkens. They mixed the '04 BMW color "Merlot", without the flake. The idea was to get close to the 1953 Porsche color "Pascha".
