No Hoax, they're all gone . . .
Their STILL offering subscriptions for sale, however. It's an independent subscription service and they have yet to be told to stop, almost sad in a way.
Lots of former editors and staff have been posting on the forums over the past couple of weeks. The magazine hasn't been great during this past year, but the decision wasn't based on the content, but rather the lack of ads, I guess that they were down twenty pages or more.
I used to buy it for the Babes (Tina New . . . m m m m m m ! ! !), when they stopped all that good stuff, it was just one red Beetle after another. I think that I read that "how-to" on installing brake shoes in seven or ten different issues . . .
Gone! No great loss. Unless you're baffled by speedometer cable installations, but then you shouldn't be working on your own car anyway, let alone turning to a VW magazine for the install info!
