Want Speedster project

I'm building an electric car on a VW chassis. I want a Speedster

Yess my thoughts exactly. 914 mid-engine is the way to go. Some of these electric motors are H-E-A-V-Y and mounting them rearward is asking for trouble.

Carey, are you keeping secrets out there in your Bremen lab?

If you did mid-engine - would't that leave the 1000# of lead acid batteries in the tail? Doubt many would fit in nose section. Most of the motors are like 96v - a lot of 6 volt batteries.

Come on Carey dont leave us hanging. Start a new thread and gives us the details.

I'd like to take credit, but I can't... I'm just building the rollers and one of our partners is doing all the electric work. Actually, they got a little bent out of shape that I posted that picture, since there hasn't been an "official" press release done yet.
I have lots more photos that I hope to be able to share in the next few weeks. As soon as I am able I will start a thread on it, promise.
