Hmmmm?  Doesn't look like any JPS car I have ever seen.  Take your time John, take your time.  If you are looking for a super widebody like the one you saw when you called me, this is not a super widebody.  There are 3 different types of widebodies available and there are significant differences between all three.

Have you looked at the rear end of that ivory and maroon speedster?! All I can say about that car is that it's WILDLY overpriced.

BHMC is commonly overpriced, based on current market conditions.  I don't know anybody who has purchased a car from them, so I can't speak to their car quality. It may be a telling signal that their inventory seems rather stagnant.

They have a Black speedster with Fuchs wheels that they have had for over a year. Looking forward to calling them in December.

Regarding the ivory car, for a number of reasons... My advice is to keep looking.

The 914 motor is fine and may be the only redeeming quality. If you like the car, you should pay what you think it's worth. From what I've seen, that car is highly modified. Cars customized of that magnitude rarely fetch their lofty price tags.

It might just be me... But when I look at the back of that car, all I see is this

The type 4/914 engine (depending on who built it) would be a great engine in a Speedster. What concerns me is the fan shroud; those typically don't have the directional vanes inside for proper air distribution and one side will run substantially hotter than the other. The graphics don't particularly grab me, but if you like them that's all that matters. The taillight/licence plate treatment is again personal. I get the cooling slots- they're to promote airflow through the engine compartment, and I'll bet the engine runs as cool as a cucumber, but they certainly don't add styling points (again, my opinion only) and the concept could have been done differently. And yeah, it's way overpriced. As Ted has said, don't jump just to get into one; have some patience (talk to Ted about that one) and the right car will come along. Hope this helps- Yoda out!

Ted- I just caught your comment above- excellent!!!
