Cory has one . . . AND he can use the money for some front Ghia lenses and bezels.

Maybe someone (one of you talented sorts) should update the corpse badge and sell it. Update it in such a fashion that it would apeal to spydie and speedy owners.
I'd buy one. Nutz, I'd probably buy a couple! angela

I do indeed have a Corpse badge. I got it from TC's vast hoarde of Corpse badges, and it only cost me six four-leaf clovers, two Norweigian Yuletide trolls, six grams of viking silver from Gulfoss ... and a pixie.
If it's all the same, I'll hang onto it. I am proposing the next one, though, in the Enhancements folder. ... Seems to be up for an informal vote right now ...

I'm not looking to reissue the corpse badge.

If you live fast and die young, something's got to live on, right?

Hmmmm ... Robert, do you happen to have a set of either 1950s-era Ghia or el-cheapo Speedy front turn signal lenses and bezels lying around? Having kicked TC's suggestion around for a while, I might be tempted to trade for my Corpse badge.
After all, it WAS the source who made the suggestion; I'm pretty sure he won't be offended.
I can't find a decent set of lights hanging off the tree in front of my house, and I'm really not looking much harder than that just yet.
This grille badge is more appropriate for my non-working crate:

Theron...
any particular reason that you don't want to reissue that badge? Seems if there is enough demand, you'd want to do it.

I agree with Michael. Previous threads have suggested there is sufficient interest for a second production run.

I So love it when the "Corpse Badge" thread gets rolling again (and again . . . and again . . . ) There's always a new bunch hammering for one of the ol' skool badges!

Gentlemen - I have a NEW "corpse badge" that I am willing to part with - if the price is right.
Shall we begin the "bidding" at $30.00 (plus shipping)?
I'm serious, by the way.

Guys - please post your bids here.
My e-mail Spam Filter is set so high that e-mails probably won't get to me...at least not quickly.
Thanks.

I also have one each limited edition original SOC badge for sale to the top bidder. There is a reserve price.

So Jim, what is the opening bid for yours?
Former Member
I'm looking for a minimum of $60 Mark. Are you bidding?
Former Member
Sure Jim, put me down for $60
Former Member
Ok. I'll close the bidding on mine at noon Central tomorrow.
I've got you down for $60, Mark. It's in perfect condition, comes with mounting hardware and a display box.

Jim, could you post a picture of yours. I'm not sure what the originals look like. Those go back several years don't they?
Former Member
I think they took orders in either 2002 or 03. I'll take a pic. It's a virgin badge (never been mounted ;)
That's it? $40 from Michael Morris and $45 from Scott Sloan?
I thought there was a lot of interest in acquiring a "corpse" badge.
C'mon, guys, let's hear from you!
If Jim Ward's selling his for $60...

I will go as high as $50...after that...its sorta a moot point. Guess I should have bought one then...
Well Theron,
guess you could get some income here, so why not a second issue?

This is getting good. The bid of $100.....which badge is that for? Is it for John's or Jim's? When does the bidding close on John's? Where is the link to click to "watch this item in my eBay"? Tune in for more exciting bidding.
Former Member
I am assuming the top bid is for John's. He placed his up for bid first and both of ours are identical and in the same (excellent) condition. So, the bid is $100 for John's and $75 for mine. My reserve has been met and there are 37 minutes left to bid on mine.
Current: $100 for John's
$75 for mine with 37 minutes left.
Luke. Jump in! It will look perfect on your beautiful (and new!) Speedster.
