Tim - You really mean the round Beehive ones that were used pre-56? Or the oval eyebrow ones used on 57 up? Most of the beehive ones I've seen are glass (guess there are plastic repros)while the eyebrow ones are all plastic.
Yes, the pre-56 beehive is what I'm looking for. I had a 550 Spyder built and had the pre-56 beehive lamps installed because I like the look better. The ones on the car are plastic repro. I've seen the complete lamps in the Mid-America catalog (356 section), but don't want to buy the whole set of lamps just for a lens. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Call mid american and tell them you just want the lens.....they may have it but don't bother listing it as a seperate available item. Consider replacing with the glass ones would be a possible option?
Thanks. On my last order, just this past week, I asked about just the lenses. They don't sell them separately. I may end up just replacing the whole lamp as you suggest. Thanks.
