Wanted - Site or contact for Vintage Reproduction gauges

I am in need of a fuel gauge for a 356 speedster. I cannot seem to located a distributor/mfg or "Vintage Reproduction" gauges on the web. Any input from the group would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the top of the page and look in "shops" Look for NHS North Hollywood Speedometer. There are aslo a couple of others like Palalto and someone else. You know you can also just call Vintage?

VDO made a model of gauge called Vintage and CMC kits were supplied with their line of "Vintage Reproduction" gauges -- is that what you're looking for? Or is it VDO gauges that look like the '50 ones?

Thanks Wolfgang! The CMC gauges are apparently the VDOs with "vintage reproduction" on the faces. I couldn't find any mfg detail on the backside and was not sure who made the gauge.

Any insight on vendors carrying these gauges today?

Tomas: I remember seeing the gauges that you refer to in the past at this site, but I do not see them now. You might try contacting these people. I have purchased from them w/o any problems.

The original CMC FiberFab gauges that have "Vintage" script on the face was an in house gauge set that was "manufactured" by none other than CMC.
As I recall, Classic Instruments Inc sued CMC for copyright infringments as it was Classic Instrument's inner workings with a CMC face and larger trim ring...CI sued and won....

I'll have to rummage through some cartons in the shop to see if I still may have one of the fuel gauges

Alan's right (of course) - the CMC Vintage gauges bear no semblence to any VDO gauges. I recall my CMC tach read 4000 RPM uninstalled and the oil pressure 60#.
