grew up (parents still live)20 plus years in passaic. i'm familiar
with the uki club. my brother used to play soccer for the polish
peoples club and i think the uki club but we're of scottish
background. fun place to grow up. i have a speedster already it's
currently getting painted in PA by a friend. good luck with your search.

S kids, we did the "Timex Time Trials" on a yet to be completed
RT 80 through Pine Brook, Montville & Parsippany areas... nice new roadway but was tough to see at night as there were no painted lines or lighting of any kind including our headlights .

Ruts Hut, that place is as dirt, my parents danced their as kids in the late 40's...Ruts hot dogs aka "sliders" also "Timex" related

AHHHH route 21. Thats my road. Drag raced "street bikes" as a kid
"dream boat run" at the Newark end. Raced against
"the block city riders=Passaic", "Klansmen"=Passaic and
"The Silk city riders=Paterson". I still drive route 21 every day.
But the state came up with a little extra money and has completed
it and it's getting busier (too bad). Rutts hut, still stop by
once/twice a year not for the taste but the ambiance.

To bad a wide body doesn't interest you. Am planning on selling my CMC as soon as it comes back from the shop. Getting a new motor (1835 with AJ Simms tuned Kadrons and 1 5/8 stinger exhaust). Has hard mounted roll bar (can pick the car up by it), racing seats and 4 point harnesses. Outlaw look, no bumpers, racing mirrors, etc.

A trip to the beach to make the family happy while you look at the speedster.

my friend who is painting it (in his spare time) says it should be in primer by tuesday
(we'll see). i haven't seen it since it left my house a couple of months ago. i'm going to head over for final wet sand and paint. i'll let you know.-bruce
