Vintage 190
$159.95–$169.95
The Vintage 190 is a high quality purpose built performance wheel in the 5×205 bolt pattern. Light weight aluminum to mimic original style vintage wheels for those that demand a better wheel than what is currently offered in an after market steel wheel. On average we have noticed a 10lb per wheel weight savings with the Vintage 190 wheel over the steel wheel.
Not only a beautiful wheel, but also a wheel with significant performance gains in braking and acceleration by reducing on average a total of 40lb of rotating mass. We are confident that there is no other performance wheel for the price point that will look or perform as well as the Vintage 190 5×205 wheel.
Made to accept hubcaps with the use of Included hubcap clips

Sounds like you may not want the full monty, but these are the best. They will be on my new spyder.
Yeah, I love these on my Spyder. 4.5" front 5.5" rear.
When you consider the thinly coated Chinese chrome wide 5's from CIP1 are $90 each and carry the warning "We recommend waxing your chrome wheels every time you wash the vehicle" . The Vintage 190's are a no brainer. The chrome ones will rust even sitting in the garage! Silver painted steel ones are $70 at Jbugs.
I agree, Greg. Get powdecoat silver and you'll thank me after a year, soapy water and rinse. I dry them with a towel so no water spots. Thankfully I don't have to polish them. That would really suck.
Try looking on SAMBA too
Here's 4 VW ones with Pirelli tires for $150 in CO. Be careful as they could be only 4 or 4.5" wide.

I see some single ones for $25-30 each too.
I have 4 chrome mangles with Pirelli tires here in California. Shipping would be expensive.
What are "mangles"?
Attachments
Mangles are steel wheels, either wide 5 or 4 lug, made in Brazil. The vast majority of them were chrome plated, but they were also available painted.
The chrome is better than the Chinese steel wheels.
I think the wheel company spells it's name "Mangel" and "mangle" is what you might do to them if you stack your car up.
I'm interested. Let's talk. Where are you?
Jethro - Are you going to be able to find Subaru (5x100mm) to 5x130mm Porsche adapters?
Jethro, please send photos, specs and price to: adsmotorcycles@gmail.com.
I'm in new york.
OK, I'll get to it this evening. Shipping will be expensive into Manhattan.
Shipping costs might be worth it if I can solve my hub-cap problem.
The hub cap clips on the wheels that came with the car are too widely spaced. I have to really pound on the hub caps to get them on. And once on, the clips get stuck in the hub cap’s rolled edge so it is almost impossible to get them off. The hub caps work fine on stock OEM wheels, but not mine.
Send me the info and let’s see what happens
These are available in black +silver($70), and chrome($90). Free shipping on orders over $100.
Thanks, but no. They are the ones I have now and the clips are too widely spaced for my hub caps. See my previous topic "too wide five".
I thought the attraction of wide fives was that open wheel look with the lug nuts and studs showing? Not covering them up with hub caps. I do like see the wheel skinz over the VW brake drums.
I like to have the option to change back and forth, from hub caps to skinz
Well, I completely forgot about this last night. No pics yet. Sorry... I'll let myself out...
