I'm looking for an early Speedster replica with body tag/titled to be pre 1989. This might make it either an Intermeccanica or CMC I would imagine. Please no wide body or projects..prefer to be as stock looking as possible. Budget is also limited so no exotic convertible 'D' IM replicas etc..

If the Speedster has been merklinized you're getting a good car! I've heard that repeatedly from others over the years. Frankly, the same holds true for Troy's work as well. These guys have long and successful records of rehabbing and selling great cars.

Less headache for legal road use registration in Oz.
Just do a search for previous for sale cars here I have done, this red one will be a light pass over for mechanics and safety i.e. what needs to be done and a sand 'n buff etc. No idea as to $ yet but will be very... reasonable.
I am also looking for a car for sale. I'm in northern California and on a budget. No wide bodies. Thanks!

Still want just a body if one is out there. No wides. I can handle anything as far as repair. Going to Carlisle with a checkbook in pocket hoping for something exciting on a trailer.
just found on local craigslist a project car for 9500. It is local to me in st johns (jacksonville). Its a speedster - looks like a CMC from the steering wheel and gauges. says it was built in 1988. It is dark blue and looks like a good fixer upper. I asked seller for more info. If anyone is interested, I can go look at it for you... I bet you could walk with this car for a lot less than that...
Daddy go, just keep on going... 23K for a car that's over 11 years old... Please do your homework and research the new tubs before you post something like that... Everyone here knows these tubs and understands what they are worth even in a good market... that being said I hope you sell it, but it will be on some offsite like Samba or Ebay... but not for 23K sorry my friend...

The feedback on pricing is reasonable, but the suggestion to "just keep on going" wasn't called for nor appreciated, "my friend".
Colt... thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. After researching the build price for a new one with all of the options on it and low mileage, its worth more than that, regardless of Speedster D's comments.
Just resurrecting an old ad I placed a few months ago that got sidetracked somehow..I'll definitely be in the market for an old pre 1989 build Intermeccanica Speedster replica in the vicinity of 20-22K around mid next year...colour is irrelevant but please no basket cases, projects, custom or wide body cars.
