When my CMC kit arrived years ago - my wife laughed at the seats and other interior bits.  Putting them together would take the full advertised build time of 40 hours.  You could use the original CMC bits for a pattern and replicate them.  The seat covers only take a couple seams.  Maybe $300 to replicate.

The VS interior seems to move interior of CMC up to looking like a real car in side.  Many have used their carpet kit as well as the seats and door cards. Great pricing at VS?  Ouch - it adds up to over $1700 plus shipping from wrong coast.
