Anyone following a radical build or frequent a site or forum that features some cool all out cars. Sites with tube frame cars being filled with fabricated madness and wrapped in street bodies. Engine and drive train swaps being done to cars that shouldn't have them done to them.

That sort of stuff.

So many of my old favorites have moved away from the dark side and spend too much talk about sound deadening and carpet choices. I used to hit them for suspension builds and coil-over tech, now I'm getting posts wondering putting Green Slime into tires and if it'll effect balancing. I mean WTF, I can find that on the damned AutoZone Facebook page.

Looking for something fun and radical. Tube frames, suspension swaps, engine transplants, front, mid, rear engine placement monsters. Stuff that shouldn't exist in polite society.

Any help? Love to hear from anyone. But remember, this is a MENDOLA FREE ZONE. None of that fuckin' shit, OK?

Speed Bucket,

That BMW 2002 is right down the street from the barn/garage, he's always in grabbing BMW parts whenever we're stripping out a car. He also just finished up a Chevy S10 with a Blown Caddy engine and transaxle in the bed.

That pic was shot at our local cruise night at the Walmarts in Halifax.

Neat guy, a real builder.

Cory, no holes drilled in it? You're breaking my heart.
Honestly, I only have three projects. It just seems like more because I hang with a close group of guys who each have three projects of their own which I'm usually involved in.

I love to help them out and we manage to get together at least one full day each week to work on the cars. I have a pretty big problem in that I don't like help with my projects, it bothers me when people try. As such, a lot of my time gets spread around the other guys stuff and little is left for my own.

Still, I really enjoy the one day off and sometimes really need it as well. I don't honestly ever expect to get any of the cars on the road, but it's a cheap fun hobby and I manage to learn something kinda new each month or so.
