$85 seems about right(Not $250, you're welcome!) Tailights are reasonable as well $45 each instead of $150. Thanx guys!

The real ones ($$$) have the "proper" markings --- like SWF for manufacturer vice CHINA and TUV/DOT for safety approval vice TAIWAN. Some states may require DOT approval stampings which the aftermarket tail light lenses do not have. Plus the cheaper ones have to be waxed ever month or so -- even if garage queens.

William,
It is all about the quality of your build. What you use is up to you. What others think of you ride in the end is all about the quality of the parts you use to put it together. Things that show like paint and trim are not the place to save on quality IMHO.

And why does anyone ever care what others think? I sure don't, that's why I built my car my way. I am the only one that has to like it. Buy whatever you want, put a couple coats of wax on the chrome, and forget about it.
What Danny said. Be careful William, you don't want to mislead anyone buy putting OEM stuff on your car, they might think you're trying to come of as the owner of a vintage Porsche.
I guess you could see if IM sells a shine up light with their stamp on it and then all would be cool. ;)
