Wanted Speedster seats and willing to trade beck seats

What kind of Beck seats do you have as they have changed designs in the last few years?  Their current seats have the two vent holes and should be bolt-in replacements.  I find the older style like I have to be more comfortable, although the newer ones look more period correct.

I have the older ones and they are  comfortable, but I am adding a back seat and I thought I might as well get the authentic looking seats that I've always wanted  as well. It would be easier to make materials. I like the vintage speedster replica seats but I thought I would check if anyone had a pair laying around. Also if anyone would be interested in a pair of tan beck seats with tracks.

I know the Beck has more interior floor space versus a pan based car.  Does that mean the seats are wider than the normal 18-20" at seat?  I want to change my interior from tight ass OEM Speedster (CMC) to the more opulent VS seats (going from red to tan at same time).  Here's my seats for trade!  Totally un-worn (and un-finished). 

I've sat in some "tight ass OEM Speedster" CMC seats, and the Becks are definitely wider than that, but are still for the narrow of tush.

Wolfgang, thanks and I will ponder the offer. Are both seats finished in red? Let me get some prices on getting them redone and I will let you know.  Would you give up the tracks as well? I am torn between rear disc brakes or authentic seats, so I can't pull the trigger yet.

I have a pair of SPeedster seats taht I would trade.  They are in good to very good condition. If interested I will shoot you a pic

BTW they are tan with a burgundy back.  I am 5' 10" and 200 lbs.  I have had two hip replacements and they are very difficult for me to climb into.

Yes mine are both have red vinyl covering as well as carpet for the back plus have an entire unused red carpet set for interior and back seat vinyl. Vinyl could be used as a recovering template and then resold to someone looking for red interior.  Seat tracks are mounted and would be included.  

The Beck seats are staying. I have to update the wheels and tires for safety reasons. The offers have been much appreciated and i will remember them for the future upgrade. The seats can be seen below and they are real leather. My drive the other night convinced me that my 8 year old tires, that look brand new and only have 5k miles, need to be replaced. While going around a mild curve the back end started sliding without warning and no squealing. I hope new 185/60/15 tires will help.

Camber compensator...

I'm using 185/65x15 - they are 1 " less diameter than the original 165/80x15 so 24.5 vs 25.4".  The 185/60x15 is near another inch smaller diameter - 23.7.  It lowered my car 1/2" so your car will be lowered 1 " with 60 series. Also revs per mile go from 794 to 850 (the 65 would be 824).  Just a consideration. 

Thanks for the tips and i might do the 185/65/15. That is the size that Beck recommends. I just know that the lower your sidewall is the less likely you get tire roll and thus get imoroved handling. But also you get a rougher ride.

If you're looking for new tires (185/65-15) I'd recommend the Falken ZIEX ZE-912.

I have 185/60 R15 Goodyears.  The 185/65 size would give you a bit less speedometer error than what I have, at the cost of a tiny bit of stickiness.

Anybody have some bucket seats they are looking to get rid of?
