Need complete Beck style exhaust system.
I purchased and installed a beautiful CB Performance ceramic coated exhaust for about $700 (including freight). The CB unit fit my car Beck perfectly. It took me about 4 hours to uninstall the old and installthe new one on Father's day.
A good hour and a half of the time I was rolled out from under the car yelling at Phil on the TV that he was going to blow the Open, if he didn't start golfing.
Phil sucked that day, but my exhaust didn't!
Glad your big buck CB exhaust system played out better than Phil's play. But what about your old Beck system? In decent shape? If so, want to sell?

My mechanic kept my old exhaust. Maybe I should see if he still has it (it's been a couple of years). I'll check. I also installed a really nice jet-coated (powder coated??) system. Well, I didn't; my mechanic did. v
My old exhaust was "trashed long ago", Mr. Mechanic says. v

Just ordered a new CB Spyder exhaust system, so am withdrawing my request for a used system. Thanks for your offers of help.
Hurry John, Greg at Vintage is giving them away. He's moving and has a Beck system just for you.
John--sorry I didn't answer your questions. His Superformance is out of control on an autocross course, so actually I think Spydie is faster. We've never raced in the same race with those cars, but that would be fun. As to why I hang around someone like that--he's 20 years younger than I am so I can retire soon and be kept! ha

Good relationship logic! Can't fault it at all. Installed my new CB exhaust system today. What a bear. Bet I donated a pint of blood on the install (skinned knuckles, etc.). Having a mechanic to install it is the way to go. Sure looks and sounds nice though.

John--recently, I got two very painful skinned knuckles--installing a new horn button!! I can't even BEGIN to imagine what happens to your hands when you install an exhaust. I'm glad it worked out. There is nothing like that nice shrieky sound of a Spyder exhaust.

Thought you had to be pulling my leg about Vintage giving away a free Beck exhaust system. Later on (after I paid my $700 bucks to CB) found out it was for real! Thanks for the tip. Sorry I wasn't smart enough to check it out sooner. Oh well - it's only (choke) money!

I just got a phone call from Greg at Vintage on a Sunday even, anyhow his exhaust look like the best deal to me and they come complete with all the stuff you need and are shipped for the advertised price to your door.

Yep. CB had 1 Vintage Spyder exhaust left in stock. My Spyder is an offbeat, tube frame RSK so I wasn't sure if a Beck or Vintage would be the best fit anyway - so I crossed my fingers & ordered the Vintage model. Luckily, it fit without much problem. It looks & sounds great though & I'm glad I went for it even though I'm dreading my next Visa bill.
